Welcome New FYZICAL Family Members

Michael is a spectacular relationship builder. He is married to his wife Jennifer, and they share a 16 month old daughter, Emily. He studied mechanical engineering and his primary career has been in the oil and gas industry. Michael moved into a sales role within the industry and then worked as an estimator. During the pandemic, there was a downturn in his industry and he was laid off in September of 2020. It was at that time that Michael began to explore other business options, which is what led him to FYZICAL. Since taking college coursework in biology and chemistry, Michael has always been passionate about healthcare, especially with a father in pharmaceutical sales and a brother who has invested in an urgent care franchise. He is looking forward to getting started and we are excited to welcome him to the FYZICAL family!

Chetan and Sandhya are a husband-and-wife team. Chetan holds a master’s degree and is an Internet of Things Product Manager for ATT – which is a supply chain management position for products that combine hardware and software and are connected to the cloud. Sandhya completed her graduate degree and is a lead product manager. They have two young children and were drawn to FYZICAL because it is a path to freedom from their corporate careers that will allow them the flexibility to spend time with their family. In addition, this investment path will help them to generate wealth. Both Chetan and Sandhya are sharp, extremely detail-oriented individuals who will make excellent franchisees for their three units in Dunwoody, Georgia.

Lauren and Sean both have a solid background in business ownership and franchising.  They were franchisees with a coffee and smoothie concept before launching their own food concession business.  Lauren is a franchise sales team member at FYZICAL and has been in franchise development for many years. As she learned more about FYZICAL, she became very excited about the prospect of becoming an area representative for Austin.  Sean and Lauren have many contacts in Austin and Sean will be very active in networking to drive growth for the market.  Lauren and Sean have two children and live in Colorado. We are excited to welcome them to the FYZICAL family!

Chris is a very accomplished BioClinica executive and general counsel. He has been a general counsel for 20 years and has supported commercial businesses in a variety of industries, with 15 years of focus on the life sciences. In his undergraduate degree, he was trained as a pharmacist and practiced retail for several years as he was getting his law degree. He comes from a healthcare family – his father also worked in pharma and his mother was a nurse. Chris has two daughters, the oldest is a practicing DPT in NYC. He plans on opening additional locations once he is finished launching the first three.

Scott Nix, former senior vice president at SunTrust, is the newest FYZICAL franchisee. With a primary goal to build multiple units, Scott joined FYZICAL for the opportunity to grow a business in an industry that both interests and excites him and will remain growth-oriented well into the future. Scott is especially drawn to the repeat customer base in the FYZICAL model, the account style relationships through B2B marketing, and the opportunity to do good within his own community - this is a feel-good business! Scott’s concise, no-nonsense approach to business development demonstrates that he is an individual who will follow the plan laid before him. The Nix’s are looking forward to starting their new adventure with FYZICAL!

Aaron and Lindsey are a dynamic husband and wife team. Aaron is a West Point graduate who served nearly six years on active duty. Currently, Aaron is a regional sales director for a medical device company. Lindsey’s background is in custom home design, and together they share four children that Lindsey is homeschooling. One of their daughters has a disability that impacts her hearing as well as her vestibular center, so the Carter’s are very familiar with the need and value behind the services that FYZICAL provides. The Carter’s were initially drawn to FYZICAL because it will provide an opportunity for long-term career freedom and give them more time with their family.

Matthew Lipsky is a very accomplished Naval Officer, currently serving in the Navy Reserves. He holds a Master’s degree in business and is dedicated, ambitious, and eager to get started with the FYZICAL brand. His wife, Elysa, is an auditor and looks forward to participating in this new business endeavor. Matthew’s father-in-law is significant in the healthcare field, and the Lipsky’s will leverage the network connections that come from their family ties. Both Matthew and Elysa are business savvy and detail-oriented, and they will make a great addition to the FYZICAL family. They are already looking forward to an expansion as these initial units open.

Scott Thayer has spent more than 30 years leading teams in large corporate and smaller private entities; The Coca-Cola Company, Newell, Soft-Tex. His extensive background includes sales, operations, innovation, business development sourcing, and manufacturing functions. Scott will lead the marketing and business development of the Charlotte territory.

Robert Hub has extensive experience leading teams in privately held, private equity-backed, and large corporate entities, Flowserve, SUEZ North America. He brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, business development, operations, and manufacturing functions to the partnership. Robert will lead the day-to-day clinical operations in the development of their territory in Charlotte.

John and Vian Wheatley are a smart and detail-oriented husband and wife team working for Caresource Insurance. While both have enjoyed their time working in corporate positions, John is looking forward to focusing on a business venture that they are able to establish, nurture, and ultimately hand down to their children in the future. The Wheatleys were initially drawn to FYZICAL because the opportunity allows them to serve their community as well as their own interests.

Steve and Kerre are an awesome couple! Steve has 32 years of corporate with a strong background in sales, sales training, product management, sales management, as well as leading sales and marketing teams. He has recently started a new job where he can have an impact in a leadership role. Steve will support Kerre in the business. Kerre is very people-oriented, skilled at building relationships, enjoys elevating the customer service experience, and will create a great culture. Kerre is planning to take the lead in the day-to-day business. Steve and Kerre are empathetic and like to help and take care of people, making this opportunity an ideal fit.

The Finnertys and the Becks are longtime friends partnering together to open three units in the Charlotte market. Dan Finnerty is the Chief Operating Officer of a small brokerage firm and sought a business opportunity that was scalable to build wealth. Sarah Finnerty is a nurse practitioner who works in home health senior care.

The Becks looked to FYZICAL as an avenue to do good for “people, planet, and profit”, using a business model to do good is core to their belief system. Aaron Beck plans to leave his current position as a project manager to focus on FYZICAL full time, while Kristin Beck will maintain her current job. Aaron’s core competencies include strong marketing and advertising background, and excellent leadership, development, and organization skills.

Rolf is an executive with a unique blend of experience in both brick and mortar and digital retailing. His experience spans Marketing, eCommerce, Omnichannel, Merchandising, Finance, Real Estate, Store Operations, and General Management. He most recently served as CEO of Room Place. Rolf's superpower is creating relationships and bonds. He has managed large teams of 200+. His style is collaborative, involved, empowering and he is a great listener. Sara is ready for her next adventure in business ownership! Sara’s superpower is keeping everyone on task. Together, they make a very dynamic team.

Rolf and Sara are excited about the physical therapy industry, especially the balance and vestibular programs that make FYZICAL unique. The Schultz’s are passionate about creating a culture where patients and team members can thrive - they are especially excited to create opportunities for Physical Therapists through FYZICAL.

Jeff is a father and entrepreneur with a finance economics background. Over 15 years he built a steam cleaning business for industrial hoods which saw incredible growth, going from 6 to 600 accounts in the first two years. He recently sold the business and immediately began seeking a new opportunity. This is how he discovered FYZICAL. The model resonated with his desire to do something he’s passionate about – helping others. Having recently needed physical therapy, he can see the universal need for the service and cannot wait to get started on the development of his three new locations in Virginia.

Chirag holds an undergraduate degree in finance and a general MBA. He works in the automotive finance industry in Detroit. His wife, Harnisha, was a PT tech for 8 years and holds her Master's in exercise science. She currently works in recruiting and will be a great asset to Chirag running the business. The Shahs were seeking opportunities in the service industry. Initially, they considered massage, but once they found FYZICAL, they saw a great opportunity in being able to truly help people in their community. The Shah’s will begin the initial development of their two Rochester locations but hope to open many more locations throughout Detroit.

Peggy has an extensive business background working with everything from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of executive-level roles. Holly Lunde and Wilson Orahem are her non-equity partners in this business opportunity. Peggy is driven by her deep commitment to helping people. The three partners will be relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina for the 5-location FYZICAL take over! This group of individuals is people-service-oriented! They are excited and enthusiastic about making a difference and want to promote client and employee experience above all else! This trio will make a spectacular new addition to the FYZICAL family, and we look forward to watching them grow in Raleigh, North Carolina!

Kanathy has her master's in exercise science and PhD in public health. She teaches public health online currently and has flexibility with her schedule. She went to FYZICAL in WPB in 2019 which is what made her reach out when she decided she wanted to open her own business. She is very driven and wants to open a business that will help people and she’s always had a passion for health. Her goal is to open more locations and her long-term goal is to have her kids be able to take the business over.

Rucha has been a Physical Therapist for 11 years and has held director roles. Her husband, Kinjal (Kenny) is in IT in packaging/supply and manages teams across the globe. He’ll be assisting where he can, but Rucha will mainly be running the show. They have one 7-year-old son. Rucha knows Bart Nikiciuk who just joined us a month prior and whose practice will be near hers. She is very excited and already has a fantastic location picked out and wants to get an LOI out to the landlord ASAP! She also already has a great lead on a potential physician liaison. She’ll be a great franchisee and will want to move quickly!

Kevin Kampley is a very successful ex-Accenture executive who is partnering with Dr. Jigar Patel. Kevin is an ideal candidate with deep corporate experience in a variety of fields all over the world. In addition, he has also invested in real estate and a few other investment ventures, so he is familiar with ‘managing the manager’ and getting things done on a larger scale. Jigar Patel is a physician who built his own practice and then sold it to Piedmont Medical. Currently an employed physician, Dr. Patel misses entrepreneurship and wants to invest in building a business outside of his daily duties. While Kevin will head the operations of the business, Jigar will field the relationship and financial support. Together they aim to build and accumulate wealth while making a measurable difference for their families and community. We are thrilled to welcome this partnership into the FYZICAL family and look forward to the development of their three clinics in Duluth, Georgia!

Lori Calloway has been practicing as an outpatient nurse practitioner for 6 years and in healthcare for over 18 years. While working in medicine, she found that what she really enjoys is promoting wellness through regenerative therapies supplementation preservation, and renewal. One of the main reasons she chose FYZICAL is because of the way she can affect patient outcomes, increase the quality of life and perpetuate optimal outcomes; by managing pain, assisting with mobility, building confidence, and assisting them to embrace an overall wellness mindset, She will indubitably optimize quality and overall enjoyment of her client's lives.

Shoneel and Aneesha Kolhatkar are excited to be joining the FYZICAL family. His previous roles include more than 20 years in driving sales, innovation, and go-to-market strategy. Having helped launch more than 100 products over his career, Shoneel’s expertise in marketing strategy and operations, coupled with his solution innovation will make him a great FYZICAL partner. His career has been focused on driving growth in business and he sees FYZICAL as an opportunity to continue this.

Sarah is an OT and CHT. She currently works for the hospital and has the past 13 years. She has a good following for her hand therapy and has taught CHT classes around the country. Her practice will focus on hand therapy, but she is interested in doing balance as well.  She is very excited to begin working with the team and designing her practice!

Adrienne has had a long, successful career in the retail industry. She has worked in all levels of the retail corporate environment and holds a degree in retail merchandise marketing. Her last 28 years were focused in the jewelry industry. She is burned out from the corporate environment and left her role after a reorganization during Covid. Adrienne originally graduated college with an OT degree but did not use it. She is high-energy and loves to help people, says it is part of her DNA. She loves FYZICAL because she knows she can help people and bring something special to her community. She is part of a Parkinson’s group call Big and Loud. Adrienne’s mom had Parkinson’s and she worked hard with her on her balance. She has tons of contacts in the senior space that she believes will be a great resource for her growing her FYZICAL business. We are excited to welcome Adrienne to the FYZICAL family!
