Gina Reuillon FYZICAL Franchisee Success StoryMy name is Gina Reuillon. I am a single mother of four and a private practice owner in Stuart, Florida. My career actually started on Wall Street during the 1980’s, and it was fun and exciting… for a while. Eventually, the long hours and unhealthy lifestyle forced me to quit my job because I wasn’t happy. So I went back to school! I decided I wanted to become a PT because I wanted to help people and escape the hectic pace and stress of the business world.

I’ve always loved being a physical therapist. I love helping people. About 4 years after graduating, I found myself working in outpatient at a local hospital. I felt convicted. I scrambled in my mind for a solution as keeping my mouth shut in many circumstances was not going to be possible. So… I signed a lease and filed my papers to open my own practice in 2003. I loved it. I had big plans. Big dreams. Business was good for a while, but for a number of reasons, I was destitute, scared, and confused. I was in debt more than $60K and had no substantial income coming in. I had three boys, one a newborn, and my hormones were completely out of control. I had to make a choice. I had to choose to believe in the fact that this WAS my calling and that even these obstacles would not define me, but fuel me to keep on.

Although I was over-stressed and over-leveraged, I did not want to do anything else. I was scrambling for a new business model realizing the old model was becoming obsolete. I studied, brainstormed, and downsized my entire practice. I closed one office and spent the next 6 months researching healthcare reform, trends, and mentors, creating a new business model that would allow my practice to survive.

That’s when I received a letter in the mail inviting me to PT Revolution. I was intrigued, and hungry for knowledge. I attended the meeting and became excited about my business again. I liked the vibe of all connected with FYZICAL. I sensed intelligence and integrity amongst all that I met. I wanted to be a part of transforming healthcare. I wanted in.

Three years later, I am completely restored financially. I have met people who have challenged me to push toward my highest potential and I’m still excited and growing. I have a team of people on speed dial that help me navigate through difficulties. The operations team is truly interested in my success and with me every step of the way. I’ve learned to order my days, prioritize, and stay focused. I’ve also been challenged to change one thing in my life that has significantly affected me as a leader and a business owner, as well as made substantial differences to my bottom line (positively). It’s the #1 thing I tell fellow FYZICAL members to do, and very easy to implement, I’d love to share it with you when you become part of the FYZICAL family.

I’m no longer stressing about life or my future. I’m going to Tahiti and Israel this year. I went to my 20 year PT class reunion in a Ferrari Spider (I rented it). Life is good. Life is fun. I have staff committed to the practice and they work as a team. When I joined we were a very small practice.
